Fibrosarcoma of the Small Intestine

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of the fibrosarcoma of the small intestine is presented for its rarity. The patient was a 33 year old female with the complaints of abdominal pain, nausea and abdominal distention. Laparotomy was done under the clinical diagnosis of the intestinal obstruction but ileo-ileo intussusception caused by the intestinal tumor was found, which was pathologically diagnosed as the fibrosarcoma.
A brief summary of literatures is reviewed.
